Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) is the most common inherited neurological disorder, resulting in progressive weakness, loss of sensation, and decreased function. In this session we will discuss findings from a recent study of over 300 individuals with CMT who wear ankle foot orthoses. We will discuss how they perceive their orthoses, the care provided by their orthotist, and balance confidence and falls, with an eye on opportunities to advance clinical care.
