The Craniofacial Society will discuss treating cranial deformations as a whole in a patient-focused interaction. Skull measurements do not always indicate the severity of an infant's deformity and although current literature shows Cranial Remolding Orthoses are effective in reducing deformation measurements, other factors must also be considered such as cranial vault sloping, primary visual asymmetry, and secondary effects such as facial and ear shift.
