This session will introduce the topic of global collaborations in prosthetics and orthotics in general. It will provide specific examples of past and ongoing efforts to build solid and long-lasting collaborations to improve prosthetics and orthotics' development, delivery, and education globally. Speakers will share their projects and then discuss the challenges, benefits, and future directions for equitable, bidirectional collaborations in global prosthetics and orthotics. Project topics will include research, education, and clinical collaborations in a variety of countries around the world.
