Description
This session will discuss opportunities with PROMIS instruments in O&P, as well as offer attendees easy-to-follow steps to implement the use of PROMIS in their own clinics. This session will begin with a high-level overview of the genesis of PROMIS and the various PROMIS instruments currently in use for O&P. In addition to the benefits of PROMIS instruments, there will be a discussion on limitations that clinicians should consider. The opportunities with PROMIS will be highlighted through several case studies that successfully utilized outcomes for payer justification. To end the session, the audience will be taken through practical, step-by-step examples of building, deploying, scoring, and interpreting custom PROMIS short forms to begin implementing meaningful outcomes in their clinic. We PROMIS it will be worthwhile.
