This Organized Session will focus on custom-rolled silicone solutions for prosthetic and orthotic devices. We will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of custom-rolled silicone, the fabrication process, and unique examples of custom silicone devices. We will follow with specific patient examples of challenging orthotic patients who have benefited from custom silicone orthoses when they have previously rejected traditional orthoses.
