Description
This course is a combination of three individual courses that are part of the Certificate Program for Professional Development on the Orthotic Management of Scoliosis and Kyphosis. Presentation 1 discusses Idiopathic Scoliosis. The presenter addresses how we measure, record, report, judge, and compare treatment progress and outcomes. Presentation 2 discusses the topic of the unique challenges of the pediatric spine in terms of malformation, disruption and deformation. Presentation 3 discusses the definition of neuromuscular scoliosis, associated pathologies, orthotic treatment goals and designs, and patient/family management.
