This certificate program for professional development focusing on Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) incorporates programming made possible through the Academy’s U.S. Department of Education grant (H235J060001). The course was initially presented in the fall of 2007 as a One-Day Seminar and then streamlined for a half-day presentation at the 2008 Annual Meeting. It is now available online as a six module course designed to define EBP and simplify it. The goal of the course is to provide a cohesive guideline to help improve and justify the clinical care for patients.
