The presenters review the basic anatomy of the cervical spine and the cervical curvature alignment and study the various radiographic image options including x-ray, CAT scan, and MRI. They examine the pathologies seen in halo management in pediatric cases. The presenters also review the history of halo stabilization and halo research, explore the differences in pediatric halo applications, and analyze the complication rates of pediatric halos and pediatric vest sizing. Also covered is the Michigan Halo Series Study, a ten-year retrospective review.
