While cranial remolding orthoses (CROs) have numerous clinical practice guidelines for positional pathologies, there is a shortage of literature and guidelines regarding the orthotic treatment of craniosynostosis. Our panel, led by the Academy's Craniofacial Society, will consist of experts in the craniofacial profession, including orthotists and surgeons, to assist clinicians with navigating decisions on helmet design, fitting, problem-solving, and communication.
