Differences in Outcome Measures Between Patients with Lower-Limb Amputations Classified as K2 versus K3
2018 Academy Webinar Series
Prosthetic prescription is based on functional level classification; i.e., K-Level assignment, but insurance-provided definitions of K-Levels are vague. Use of outcome measures that can differentiate between different K-Level categories; e.g., K2 versus K3, may assist clinicians with justifying a patient's functional level and reduce inter-clinician variability in K-Level assignment and will be discussed during this session.
