Description
Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common cause of motor disability in children affecting as many as one in every 250 live births in the United States. In order to provide comprehensive care for individuals with CP, an interdisciplinary team must work collaboratively to address the multifaceted nature of this condition. This certificate program is designed to provide the orthotist with a fundamental understanding of the treatment principles inherent to the treatment of cerebral palsy.
